Types of viners you will run in to on the forums

I have been on 2 popular forums for almost 2 years with the exception of when I started this blog, and several months in 2024.

I left the forums because I got tired of the drama.

Here is a list of forum types:

The Newb/Noob. Comes in waves know to ask all the dumb questions every newb asks. Very difficult to tolerate, overly sensitive, and prone to attacking anyone who is not super nice, and must be spoon feed.

Mr. or Mrs posts cute/silly/weird/sexual/misspelled items. These types are desperate for social interaction yet oddly hang out in forums. 

Old viners. Anyone who has been in the program longer than a year. Prone to snark and can be very impatient with the newb, or the cute posters. 

Mr. Tax expert (voice of doom). Claims to know all about filing taxes related to vine, will try to scare the pants off of you regarding the IRS. 

Mr. Paradigm. Fights against anyone who suggests a way to write better reviews. Attacks those that suggest we actually use/test products.  

Mr. Conspiritard. Everything that changes in vine is somehow related to current political thing. 

The cargo cult follower. Very superstitious. Follows all vine rules like it is a cult. Gets very nervous if others do not. Prone to accusing people who were kicked out of using bots, scripts, or extensions. Believes in shadow bans. Thinks that Amazon is secretly punishing people who leave low star reviews. Everything bad that happens is because we aren't all following the rules.

The greedy bastard. Makes a mad dash to get gold, then complains bitterly that all they can find is junk, and that other people are stealing their stuff with extensions. Oddly refuses to use extensions, or if he/she does, gets mad that it does not give him the advantage he/she fantasized about. Freaks out when drops don't happen, or there is a pause. Threatens to quit.

The white night. Attacks anyone who is even slightly snarky to others, or (usually) they just think your response is snarky or "rude" (truthful). Everything must be fair, and everyone must be totally nice to others. Goes off and starts their own forum with very strict rules, bans anyone who dares to criticize them.

The Pro. Has extensions, is part of the discord, probably has written their own scripts or uses some kind of bot but will never tell anyone. Orders TONS of things yet never complains about the massive tax bill they must have, or how full their house would have to be by now. Brags about how much they have ordered. Is very likely selling most everything they are ordering. Will wake up in the middle of the night if drops happen then. Somehow always gets the good stuff. 

The actually helpful people. Get driven away by all the above.
